Lens
it has been difficult to come up with a genuinely witty idea for this task, especially as i left a rather long break at christmas before even thinking about a concept. it is hard to turn my body into an illusion as i have little sense of what my body looks like and what it can achieve, and with the slump of christmas food and general exhaustion, i have, really unfortunately, been very, very lazy.
however.
the concepts i came up with in my playbook provided unrealistic or just plain boring to me when it came to thinking of a design, and the final idea came to me in the shower. i realised i have a lot of moles on my knees and decided to play with that. I remembered the brief said something about sculpture and modelling- i was originally going to try and find a miniature figurine of a man with a spade digging, but honestly this was unrealistic, as they don't sell them on ebay and all the charity shops were shut. I then remembered that i had a stash of polymer clay somewhere and decided to make and bake a teeny tiny mole (animal) (not for too long though as the toothbrush bristles would have melted)
i didn't play around with perspective a much as i would have liked, but there was little time left and i feel like it worked the way it was.
the final outcome-
however.
