Playbook Reflective Report 4

The  Deep

As first days back go, this one was pretty darn fun.
The observational task in the morning was lovely to get back into the swing of drawing, but i was a little too hungry for lunch so my drawings weren't that considered or careful.
it was actually quite difficult to train my hand back to being able to do what my head wanted it to, and my drawings turned out quite clunky and a bit blerrg

After lunch, drawing the living fish was even harder because they don't blooming stand still.
all my drawings were rushed and quick, but sometimes this turned out either quite funny or just plain stupid looking, which i guess is quite a positive outcome?
(it was really calming and enjoyable though)

Observational Drawing- Life Drawing

This exercise was really hard to get into the swing of, as i hadn't drawn realistically since a-level and my hand wasn't used to doing what i wanted it to. but when we got doing it was actually quite enjoyable, despite the imaged i made turning out to be less quality than hoped. i really specifically enjoyed the task where we had to  draw the outline only, and then fill it in where the light and shadow was- i enjoyed this because it was something id never thought of doing and went against everything id been taught at school, and it was fun looking at something in such a different way.

(sorry about the dodgy angles)
